I'm thinking I must have most of the tracks on that already, assuming they are taken from already released albums, and not alternate takes, etc?

John Renbourn & Wizz Jones - Joint Control

That must've been about the last thing John recorded before his death in March 2015. And now Wizz has gone too.

Dando Shaft  :  Anthology  (RPM 2CD, 2002).

I almost forgot  i have this, and how good it is.  3 albums  plus some extras, the albums mastered from the original tapes.  I like Polly Bolton's voice especially.

The one you saw is the original older singer. The other is younger and i don't know much about her.

Daughter of Pete Bolton who used to be in the Whiskey Dogs.

I've seen Pete and Polly duet a few times, often at smaller/eclectic festivals like Musicport

And if they know one another, I wonder which one puts the kettle on. Maybe they take it in turns.

Mellow Candle  :  Swaddling Songs   (Deram LP, white vinyl,  Record Store Day edition, 2020).

When i listen to this i always end up feeling  better. It reminds me of just how good music  can be, and how magical.  There must be bands  and artists around today who would give a limb  to make a record like this .

The younger Polly Bolton is currently a member of The Trials Of Cato. She's an excellent musician & songwriter.
