I used to pay the best part of £35 (taking inflation into account) for a double cassette in the early 90s so what do I know...

The Orb - Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld...just what they cost...£13.99 then, I think.  I worked it out on an inflation calculator a while back.

The kids (in due course)will have the RSD2025  picture disc of The Cure's "The Head On The Door" (still sealed) to take to the charity shop along with all the other Cure picture discs that have been issued on RSD that I've collected and never played. No need to queue for this title , obviously not a very limited edition .

There is a song on the new Half Man Half Biscuit album called Record Store Day.
It contains the following couplet:

'Oh, I do like to re-release me B-sides/
I do like an overpriced LP'

 Grin

Deafening silence.

Did nobody get anything?

Shop people have been telling me this has been one of the busiest/ most successful RSDs so far.

Yes, The Mission, Fields of the Nephelim, Jethro Tull, Goblin...

You had a good day then.

I'm already wondering what will come out next year . I must be a hopeless case.
