Truly shocking news. Oysterband's Facebook group just reported that Rowan Godel passed away two days ago. She had the most fabulous voice, and after almost two decades in the business only released her first solo album in 2020.

Oh heck. She certainly did, we saw her with JJs Reluctant Ramblers , with Chopper and with Greg Cave. RIP.

This is sad news.  Cry  I've rambled with Rowan, and the Reluctant Ramblers and  saw her 3 years ago in a stage play 'Rouse ye women' about the Chain makers. Such a sweet voice and lovely lady.

From John Jones...

Rowan's funeral was live streamed today and was a fitting tribute with her voice singing 'Songbird' plus the duet with John Jones. John spoke as did Benji. Both very emotional. It can be viewed from Friday 18th for 28 days I think.
