CSNY doing Neil's Down By The River on TV.  I challenge anyone to find a better clip of the four of them at their peak:-

Well that takes me back, but I wasn't interested until Neil Young was in the mix. Which set me off looking for the great fractured masterpiece that is 'Broken Arrow'.
No early video, but this is good:

I like Softs now, especially the Harvest era, but didn't like them at the time. Thanks for posting. I know the venue too.

I missed this yesterday...  Should be in the Fairport clips of interest really.  Exactly the sort of music that Ric's undoubted talents are (for me) most closely aligned to (although having said that he's brilliant on Rise Up Like the Sun too, so what the hell do I know?).  I adore John Etheridge's guitar in a 'rocky' setting too...it was a pleasure seeing him with Hawkwind the other year....

Great stuff.  Thank you, Andy.

Every year there is a tv programme called Top 2000 here in the Netherlands, there are 6 shows starting Boxing day until new year's eve.
In every show there are interviews with all kinds of stars.
The last couple of weeks they have shown interviews they did not use. it is not a Youtube clip but a clip of the tv company.
In this episode there are short interviews with Jeff Lynne, Roger Hodgson, Average White Band, Graham Gouldman (explaining about the
name 10cc) and Eric Burdon talking about Randy Newman and Cynthia Weil.

Good one Al. I'll counter this with this version of Jingle Bells by a young group of bluegrass musicians all the way from deepest....New Jersey? Seriously we saw these guys awhile back and they are the real deal-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEUIR2RIC-M

Strangely me and my 3 year old grandson at his request have spent the afternoon bopping to KC's 21st Century Schizoid Man?

This popped on my Facebook this morning, http://www.fruitsdemerrecords.com/dwindling.html Us and Them have mini album called Dwindling Within the Fading Sun it has Winter Winds, Farewell Farewell, Next Time Around, Banks of the Nile, and Take Away the Load on it. a bit folk-lite for me but I am sure there is an audience out there for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64FeK9QNgD0 and this version of By the time it gets dark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izr3V_3MVGs I prefer yo lan tengo's version if any https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_S5gbp8adho&list=RD_S5gbp8adho
