If you haven't already got the original vinyl, reel to reel, cassette, CD, DVD, Remastered CD, here's the very limited edition thing for you...

It is a nice thing but I won't be getting it.

I have ordered the Magical Mystery Tour boxed set however, though I am not quite sure why as I could probably have managed with just the Blu Ray.

My Beatles collection has been complete for many years. I don't have the means to play vinyl, anyhow.

Jeez, I didn't realise I'd had so much beer... Still not enough to convince me to buy this lot though.

Would I be right in thinking that on original release, the Mono Remastered was supposed to be a limited edition?

I honestly can't remember.  I think they may have lost track themselves.

I have no desire to buy vinyl to replace the vinyl I bought CDs to replace though!   Wink

Seems a wasted opportunity not to have done mono vinyl, to be honest.

I've no doubt that the vaults are full of Beatle-related ****. They broke up 42 years ago. Get over it and stop trying to maintain the fortunes of companies who bought the rights years ago.

How many formats will I be expected to buy their songs in before I die?

Bitter? No. Just annoyed.

Did anybody see the outstandingly appalling interview with the very averagely talented James Mccartney on Channel 4 News tonight? Embarrassing.  Now, I wouldn't be Macca's son for all the tea in China but that segment made both interviewer and interviewee look pathetic.  I hate the Beatles industry.

It really doesn't bother me at all.  They make things I want to buy and they make other things I don't want to buy.  They're hardly Kiss, are they?

I may be alone in possesing no Beatles albums whatsoever (unless you count Lennon solo) so this could be a place to strart. I like vinyl, if it's good.

It is very expensive! £300, which equates to about £24 per album.

The Beatles mean an awful lot to me, more that any other band, fashion, style, whatever.
The thing about being a Beatles fan is that (I thought) you can have the lot, 'cos they have a beginning, a middle, and an end.
Apparently not.

Sorry, I diidn't look closely first time. I think I saw them advertised as individual albums elsewhere - this ad's for a boxed set.

£24 is okay for one album, if it's audiophile quality, or close. If they DO come out separately, or better still if the Red/Blue comps come out again, I might go for one or 2.

My collection includes Magical Mystery Tour DVD, and will exclude MMT Blu-ray...

I found the mono masters to be near perfect.
Then again, I've got Lemmy to thank for my hearing, or lack thereof.
