My brother was really into the Cars, I just had a 12" of Heartbeat City, but they did some great songs. I remember a solo album Beatitude which I really liked too.Sad News!

Another great guitarist gone, really heavy, really raw loved the stuff he did with Shagrat too, though i knew his work mainly though the Pink Fairies.

Sad about Barry Masters. I hadn't heard about that. Picking up the Live At the Marquee EP in 1976 was one of my formative musical experiences and I followed the band through their first few albums. Sadly I never got to see them live.
