as good as it is ever likely to get - there was something about the way Collister and Thommo's voices meld together which is sublime IMHO

One for those of us looking forward to RT's upcoming tour. I've got a ticket for the Liverpool date. This clip of 'Jealous Words' has only had 87 views so you may not have seen it...

Great clip, the bassist is Rory/Ruari McFarlane and the drummer is FC's own GC. From the "Across A Crowded Room" video which is crying out for a full DVD reissue.

Richard Thompson performing "Salford Sunday" Live on KCRW

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRLC-GaJPS8

It puts me in mind of Graham Nash's "Cold Rain" also written about that part of the world

Nice.Good song.Nice paintings.Good song about nice paintings.

Subtle self promotion doesn't do the job like the blatant kind.

Dailymotion rather than YouTube, but here's a slideshow video of the rather odd 1975 single "You Never Know" by Charlie Drake.  Also on the track - Peter Gabriel (co-writer & producer), Robert Fripp, Keith Tippett, Phil Collins, Sandy Denny etc!

You're just jealous you don't have a swimming pool in the shape of Shirley Temple.

You are of course correct Michael.  I should point out however, that David's swimming pool is in the shape of Ned Kelly's helmet.  Shocked

Do I gather from this that Gerry, Peggy and Simon will be taking part in this Albert Lee thing? Apologies if it has been mentioned before.

What a bizarre 'clip'...doesn't really make any sense at all on its own without some further contextualisation.
