Yes, I'd heard it before. There's a YouTube film of him performing it on the Late Late Show, following a short interview. I'd link to it but my phone won't let me. Just go into YouTube and search Phil Lynott Late Late Show Sandy Denny and it'll come up.

There’s Phil Lynott box set due shortly and buried in the middle of CD 5 there’s a track called ‘A Tribute to Sandy Denny’. Has anyone come across this on a deep dive before? Apparently it was a one off single with an Irish band called Clann Eadair.
