Wendy will be proposing the Toast tonight.

We will, if course, be remembering all our "absent friends".

We are gathering for a 19:30 target time.

We hope to see as many TalkAwhilers as possible.

All donations will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Excellent job Wendy, looking forward to see how much we raised.

Although there were very many disgusting assimilations drink wise, I’m going to propose Dad Volt’s creative concoction took drink preparation to a whole new level. I’m still not sure WHAT I drank from his bottle, him CLAIMING it was basically prunes, it was the general opinion on the field that HE ate the prunes, processed them, and then collected the emergent mixture from his toilet. Still I don’t seem to have suffered.

We collectively raised £375 this year for the Teenage Cancer Trust. This is an increase of £60 over last year.

I will pay it in asap.

With Gift Aid, the total should be around £468.75. I will confirm this later.

Congratulations and thanks to all.

If you couldn't be there  but wish to donate anyhow, please make your donation individually online at https://donate.teenagecancertrust.org/

Good to see you all at the toast, despite the horrific concoctions I was “forced” to drink…  Grin I paid for it the next day  Roll Eyes

That’s a fantastic amount collected!  Cheesy

All paid. £468.75 with gift aid.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for being that ‘someone’ who understands.

Thank you so much! Your generous donation of £375.00 means our nurses and support staff can be there to give every young person with cancer the best care possible.

Every day, seven young people in the UK aged 13-24 hear the words ‘you have cancer’ and without the right support, going through cancer could take so much from their lives.

But today you have helped to change this. Your gift today will fund the specialist nurses and youth workers who will help them through it, help them recover, live their lives to the fullest and flourish in the future.

If you ever want to check your current communication choices or change how we keep you informed about our work and other ways you can support young people with cancer such as fundraising, events, volunteering, donating and campaigning please let us know. You can get in touch with us by phone, email or by visiting our website. We’d love to hear from you!

Your donation summary

   Donation amount: £375.00

That's great news. Due to my enforced absence on Day 3, I missed the toast, but I've made a donation online. Hopefully, I'll be back next year (for the whole of the festival!)
