I notice that there is actually a break on Saturday evening from 19:30-19:55.

This, it seems to me, would be a good time to have the toast.

Can we agree on 19:30 at the Bar, then?

I would nominate Wendy Leslie who is always so cheerful and willing to role up her sleeves when needed.

My fermentation process is nearing completion ,soon the blending.

Recent years has seen my "STUFF" turn out disappointingly pleasant, I hope for much worse this year.

The 2025 Carey Hancock Memorial Toast

This will be held at approx 19:30 on Saturday at the bar on the field,. There is a break in stage proceedings for 30 minutes at that point. Please start gathering by 19:15 if at all possible.

As you probably know, we collect money for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Toast. We usually raise at least £300.

So please bring CASH - £5, £10 and £20 notes are good - no shrapnel please - to put into the collection bucket one week today.

If you don't recognise me, I'm sure you'll recognise Wendy. The bucket will be with one of us at all times.

See you there, bring CASH and horrible drinks

If you can't be there  but wish to donate anyhow, please make your donation individually online at https://donate.teenagecancertrust.org/

I have observed from afar in previous years, but might join in with up to 10 peculiar Irish persons this time, if that's acceptable?   How horrible should the "horrible" drinks be?

Quite acceptable to join us.

The more "interesting" the drinks, the better.
