I will be there. I shall try to limit myself to a total amount that will permit seeing the rest of the evening

I’m very pleased and proud to announce the Talkawhile toast held Saturday evening managed to collect £223.80p for the Teenage Cancer Trust . This year we were remembering many lost friends, as always .
Considering not as many Talkawhilers were able to be there this time for the Toast as in previous years (weather and illness for example), a big thank you for helping us all to raise this amount for a very worthy cause .
Thank you all . Well done .

You did a grand job, pastie.

That’s a really generous donation from a reduced group. We are a good bunch!

A small, but perfectly-formed group. Lovely to catch up although everything I drank was surprisingly palatable!  Grin Must try harder!

If anyone still wishes to donate to the charity please Private Message me until next weekend before I bank it all so I can give you my bank details to transfer. .
I’d be mortified if you felt obliged. There’s a extra £10 to add already to the charity via this method . Thanks to you know who.

So happy to have been able to chat with you all at the toast…
Until my cane seat sent me flying onto my already bruised bum!

Thanks to Adam Wallace and anyone that helped pick me up, hope your backs are ok!
Couldn’t stay any longer feeling just a bit wobbly by then!

Thanks PB for hosting the toasting. Well done everyone. However, PB, your bad stuff was good stuff. Should we have a vote who was the worst stuff?
