Ive just realised we were never asked to show our camping stickers this year, and it never got put up either (so nobody was wandering around looking for stickers on vehicles).

This was field 4 and we arrived circa 0830 or so Thursday.

what was everybody else's experience?

Im wondering is its because the stickers could posibly have any of three dayes/designs on them (2020/2021/2022) and it was just easier to not fraff around?

Not a whinge, just intrigued.

My 2020 camping sticker had quite lost its stick so it was simply wedged into a bottom corner of the windscreen - mostly invisible from outside the car, I suspect. We went onto field 7 with no obvious checks of our car - or anyone in front of us.

Even in past years, I don't recall camping stickers being policed particularly thoroughly.

cheers simon.

I do vaguely recall showing a sticker (always 4 or 5 (?) ) in the past (eg 2015-12019) but that may just have been us being very keen and desperate to please and not actually being asked or looked for!

Mine had also lost its stick after 2 1/2 years, but I sellotaped it to the windscreen. I imagine it was looked at as I arrived at F4, but not sure.

Ours wasn't perused, we were zipped through asap because we were there at gate open time.

Perhaps those arriving later might have been examined, no idea.

Mine wasn't stuck on firmly as, like others, it had lost its stickiness after all this time. I can't recall anyone looking at it, but I may be wrong.

I guess that if they are clearly displayed, the stewards can probably look a few cars down the queue to see if you have a sticker, and you wouldn't even notice that they have checked.

Ours wasn't checked on arrival, at 7:00 in Field 7. I stuck it on the windscreen when we pitched, but it must have fallen off when I closed the blinds, and I didn't find it until the following day. Re attached it with spit, and it was OK for the rest of the festival.
