I’ve had a message stating there has been a delay and that delivery will now be between 2nd October and 4th November.
Is this just Amazon or is it general?

Same here
I checked my order yesterday and it was very nearly out for delivery😕
I wonder if demand has outstripped expectations?

Possibly... but as I ordered my copy nearly a month ago, I'd like to think that they had plenty of time to get it in stock in time...

Looking at the chatter on another forum it looks as though anyone who ordered after about 20 July is having a problem. I ordered on 16 July.

Ultimately this is a good thing...they underestimated demand.  There are more people about with good taste than we thought...  Wink Smiley

I just listened to the BBC interview with Richard and Linda and while doing so looked the compilation up on iTunes in Germany.

I had thought I wouldn't buy it but for 29,99 Euros I couldn't resist.

Part of  this I think is that the set is not available in the US because of copyright issues with a couple of the albums so there are a lot of US buyers purchasing from Amazon UK and importing their copies.

But surely they must have known how many pre orders they had!

Spotify only has 93 tracks. Shoot Out The Lights and the 1975 tracks are missing. Sane on Amazon?

113 tracks on Amazon Music it appears. £26.99 to download but it is not entirely clear what you get for that.

Mine's been delayed by up to a month.  Amazon must have taken more orders than they could supply.   Angry

For my 27 quid I got everything minus 3 tracks it would seem, and I'm unsure why they're missing. As I said in my earlier post, the missing tracks are a couple of live versions I'll probably only listen to once, but I'll chase them up over the weekend when I've listened to the rest.

The live version of "Layla" from First Light is playing now, and the guitar work is incendiary ! I believe at that point in his timeline, he hadn't played electric guitar for a couple of years - it sounds like he's really getting something out of his system.

PS Update to previous post. An email from A****n has informed me that they've resent me the 3 missing tracks, and they're now downloaded. Phew !

My copy from A****n has been delivered. As I am not at home, I cannot confirm this until Monday. Interestingly, they say it's been put in my garage. They'd have a job to do so, as it is very securely locked. My guess is that it's been slid under a side gate.

Just had confirmation that my second copy has been delivered to its recipient so I can now relax and listen to my own set but, to quote the Saw Doctors, it won't be tonight.

Chatter elsewhere on the net indicates that these are back in stock at Amazon and are dispatching today.

However multiple disc issues are now being reported. Certainly two of mine struggled to rip. Have not played them yet. Listening to disc 1 now.
