From Jerry D on FB:

"Hello fellow Family and Friends of Sandy: It's been wonderful to read all the support and enthusiasm here, over upcoming activity surrounding Sandy: Mick Houghton's wonderful biography, the 4-disc box set being released by Universal, next month, etc. And, as Universal have been encouraging Pat, Gerry and me to put a sort of 'Fotheringay revisited' unit together as an aid in promoting all of this, we've done just that, and have some wonderful guests with us in Kathryn Roberts (of Equation, KR and Sean Lakeman), Sally Barker (The Poozies and The Voice), and PJ Wright (The Dylan Project, The Steve Gibbons Band, PJW and Dave Pegg). This is most exciting to all of us involved in the three projects and we now have the following confirmed dates on our calendars.

June 2015

Wednesday 17th: The Bridgewater Halls, Manchester
Thursday 18th: The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal
Friday 19th: Under the Bridge, London
Saturday 20th: Lowdam Festival, Notts
Sunday 21st ?
Monday 22nd: The Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool
Tuesday 23rd: The Carneigie Hall Dunfermline

These have been arranged in the only 8 day period that was free to all six of us, since we do have quite different agendas and schedules from one another. But we're treating this very seriously and it gives us an exciting opportunity to relive this wonderful side of Sandy's music that, I believe, no one else has covered in all these years. I hope we get close enough to you and you'll be able to join us in a wonderful evening of Sandy's unique and beautiful songs. Besides the two Fotheringay albums, we will also be doing a few selections from Sandy's solo works and, of course Trevor's selections sung by PJ. Cheers! Jerry Donahue"

This would make an excellent birthday present to myself since my birthday is June 18th; don't think I can make it over for this AND Cropredy though. However, I think this would be an ideal choice for a slot at Cropredy 2017 (as well an Albion Band collective performing all of Rise Up Like The Sun).

I'd think Cropredy would be a must.  There and Knoxville.

I'm having a somewhat optimistic fantasy that they're just about to book Cheltenham Town Hall for the 21st.   Roll Eyes

Lowdham isn't a barn... It's a village hall.

Just a thought - can one of the mods change the thread subject title so that it says Fotheringay rather than Fothergay?  Not just me being a pedant, but it actually might be useful for some folks searching for the thread.

Hopefully a Brum venue may make an appearance and howabout a Bristol / Exeter also.Otherwise a very Northern centric tour which I guess makes a change.
