Did anyone see Ralph on 'Fairport Convention, who knows where the time goes?' on BBC4 on Friday evening? Radio Times claimed that it was 'new', but I have a feeling it's been on before.  Undecided

It's on iPlayer here.

Yes, I'll be picking B2 up at next month's concert. Is 'Conundrum of Time' a new song?

And gosh, it's a lot of years since i heard 'Maddy Dances' live. Wink

I know that Koen watched it at the time on Dutch TV (or has some other way to watch BBC4 - is it an option on satellite?). It might be repeated again at some time on the same channel.

No, it's from 'The Boy with a Note'.

Maybe he has the proper BBC package on cable ( unlike me  Roll Eyes ) or a proper UK
proxy server that will allow him to watch the iPlayer stuff as if he were inside the UK.

There's an interesting article here about an early gig of Ralph's.

While it doesn't surprise me that they sold 6000 tickets for the gig (particularly in Croydon), but I'm very grateful that this lady gave him this chance  Smiley

There's another recent interview wirh Ralph here

Now I'm really confused!   Tongue Huh The recent article about him in Saga magazine claimed that this is to be his last major tour, but this article says:

"“The idea of never going out on tour any more fills me with fear. As long as there are people who want to hear the songs and as long as I can make a creative contribution, I’ll keep doing it.”

Let's hope that this is the correct version of his plans!

Hello David  Wink

Thanks a lot for your valuable info.

Well, I did spot the first one on DimeADozen just earlier, but where
did you find the second one, please?

I am having trouble with downloading from DimeADozen atm.,
so it would be great if you found them both at another site.

If you are into Ralph stuff there are also these two new
additions at DimeADozen:

McTell Ralph 1992 03 06 Cardiff

Description   St David’s Hall Cardiff Wales 6 March 1992

&

Ralph McTell 1994-11-14

Description   Ralph McTell and Band
Half Moon, Putney Nov 14 1994

It's a good job Ralph's got a few days off.
I can just imagine the set list developing as he watches the news
Weather the Storm
Another Rain has fallen
After Rain
No chance of 'The girl on the Jersey Ferry'
