In see you're on the cassette with this mag, Jude. I look forward to getting it -- I've seen GZD before and this looks like a fine issue.

Yes - a cassette. Not my favourite medium I have to confess, but at least it won't be my problem when they unspool all over the floor  Grin

It was that duo with Whispering Bob that did it for you wasn't it?  Wink

I still run cassettes and like the retro-ness of them. Maintaining a good  player (so it won't mess up your tapes) is a bit costly, but then vinyl is also a demanding mistress, and I still love it, too.

Don't play cassettes much at all though I do have a player plus one with a radio. Must go through my tapes sometime.

Cassette players and tapes long consigned to the past here.  Don't miss 'em.

Just finished my copy, having waited until I was on hols here on the Isle of Wight.

An entertaining read that I recommend to you all. Just bought a second copy to give to my sister.

Finally started reading this after getting a copy at the launch. Thoroughly enjoying reading about all the local places - will be walking past Ashley Hutchings house on the way home and very close to Dyble Mansions. We could start a Judy Dyble trail - starting and ending at the Starting Gate pub.   Smiley

The source of most the stuff in our garden! It was still a lido when we moved here but not for long.

I rather like the idea that youthful members of Fairport may well have walked past our house some 50 years ago.  Smiley

PS - which church hall did you go to for Brownies/Guides? St Gabriel/St Saviour/St Andrew.

I can't remember which Brownies we belonged to, possibly St Michaels but we were all members of the Guides at Trinity Church Trinity Rd N22 (now St Barnabas Greek Orthodox church..)

I'll have to ask my sisters  Grin

Same here really. But just curious to what I've got hidden. May well be some stuff I on tapes but not elsewhere. 😀

Never forget your tapes. I still have my machine running, but for space reasons lots of cassettes have ended up in boxes. I need to get to them again . . .

Enough about those dreadful cassette things... Roll Eyes

In less than 5 weeks time I will be playing in the Walled Garden at the Green Man Festival with Trader Horne. Probably the last time we'll play together as TH.  Cheesy

There are some tickets left so if you think you'd like to go here's who's on:
