Thought I would just update everyone on recent happenings and occurrences..

The very lovely Schroedinger's Cat a.k.a. Jane Merrick and her equally splendid husband, redid and updated my website with more stuff than ever... and I now have a shop
http://www.judydybleshop.com/

where copies of Talking With Strangers CDs and Fragile 7" picture vinyls can be bought, but with the added joyfulness of a signed postcard with some sort of 'hello/nattering from me' given with each purchase. Roll Eyes

More news:
I have just licensed TWS to Tonefloat records who will re-release it on vinyl in Europe, but this time with the Jackie Morris Artwork.

And I have also licensed TWS to Gonzo MultiMedia for release in the US again with Jackie's beautiful artwork.. Neither will be out for a bit as they have to be manufactured - but soon..... Grin

The new album is nearly finished, and is just awaiting strings  (violin, viola, cello and double bass) to be added to some of the songs.
I hope it will be out later this year or early next year. After the last album that I created which was finished, mixed and mastered, and then the collaborators refused their permission for me to use their music, so that was 2 years of my I'm-not-getting-any-younger-life wasted, I am pleased that I have had the encouragement and support to start again.

This new album will be lovely. Well I reckon so anyway Grin Roll Eyes

Ahem - if I may briefly interject, after some years in doldrum invisibilty the rarely heard "Little No-One" featuring Jude on vocals is now available as a download from http://songsfromthebluehouse.bandcamp.com/ in return for however much you're prepared to pay for it. Once again, thanks and felicitations to Dame Judy for her time and talent, neither of which we deserve, but for which we are obviously hugely thankful. Commercial interjection over.  Fez

Well. I keep saying I don't do live gigs don't I? So what has made me say yes to this one? Eh?

http://www.229thevenue.com/portfolio/tonefloat-records-lable-night-presents/

It's on the 28th October at 229 The Venue, Great Portland St London
Tickets are available from here should you wish to venture to London

http://www.crazy-diamond.nl/tonefloat/html/store.htm

And there will be songs from Talking With Strangers and some from the new album, tentatively called 'Flow and Change'

Gulp!. Think I should have a large gin. :-)

I would have loved to come to this but I've already got tickets for Alice Cooper at Wembley that night (!). However, I bought Talking with Strangers cd at Cropredy and love it. Really glad I bought it. Thanks Jude.

They are Alistair Murphy,(keyboards and guitar) Mark Fletcher-( bass), Jeremy Salmon (electric Guitar) and Rachel Hall (violin) all of whom helped me to create Talking With Strangers, and all of them except Rachel are helping me with the new album. And of course Tim Bowness will be featuring and assisting me with the vocals..  Grin Alistair produced TWS with Tim and is producing the new album. He's very good... Smiley
