Thanks for all the positive comments - there's still some more clips to come but not for another day or so (can't access them atm).  More details about the telecast here: http://www.rockpalastarchiv.info/concert/fairportconvention.html

Any requests for the next one to put up?  Smiley

Fantastic stuff. I wonder what this line-up would have gone on to do, had they continued? Sounds great to me.

This was one of the related videos - the entire 'Alive in New York' video from 1989 (I think)

'Twas 1991 Ollie (I was there for both sets!) hence the two songs from The Five Seasons. I still miss The Bottom Line club where this was filmed

Peter and David...thanks. Funny, when Roger Hill passed away I was looking him up and saw the Old Horns Band page, and did not even think that Bob Brady was THAT Bob Brady. Nice to see Roger Burridge there too-a good player for sure.

Michael once again, thanks so much for sharing these. As Ollie said, I wonder what this lineup would have gone on to do. In watching these clips I am very impressed by Roger Burridge, and I love Bob Brady's enthusiasm in all these clips, smiling, clearly enjoying himself, engaging the audience. And I am a huge Dan Ar Braz fan, so seeing him here is fantastic. I remember on the Cropredy Box him saying very sincerely "maybe some of you have never heard of me before!" Its great seeing his playing here-he looked uncomfortable, yet you can see kind of a...oh what the hell kind of attitude...great stuff. I never thought I would see this, ever!

I'm glad people are enjoying seeing these - it really does put that period into a different kind of perspective when you can actually see them in action, and it's the full line-up.

So here are the last 2:

Lay Me Down Easy  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uTRad6adgs
Cropredy Capers / Frog Up The Pump   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3_LzDmOKHg

Bob Brady engages the audience even more directly in the latter clip.  Smiley

Yea, let's make the really good one play mandolin or Autoharp or something instead.

Great clips, thanks Michael. Although I only saw them once at a free outdoor show (Harlow Town Park 1976), they made a lasting impression. Very different in style to earlier or later line-ups, they were very entertaining & proficient & it's unfortunate they never really had the opportunity of producing a decent representative LP.
