This will be the first time I won’t be having a pint or two in the Brasenose. I feel for the young workers who weren’t paid last year (and still waiting). Scott Doonican said he was only paid last year when he threatened MU action.

Several other acts have withdrawn now, I wonder just how viable the Brasenose will be this summer?

Hopefully not at all.  As I've been suggesting on social media, the Cropredy is a perfect candidate for community ownership, mainly because it has two communities that love it - the geographical one, and the musical FC-related one.  I'd willingly buy a share or two at £50-100 a pop and I bet many others in the community would too (and put in a lot more.  Raising a few hundred thousand and creating a viable Cropredy and FC-friendly business (that operates as it used to, not as an alternative festival) is surely possible?  I hope somebody local is able to run with an idea like this...

Bought ourselves a camper van this morning so Cropredy tickets have followed quickly after. First time since 2018 so very excited.

Similar to us . Our previous van went before Christmas and we only replaced it last week , couldnt commit to tickets before we had a van. We just couldnt find one that matched all of our criteria for ages, so compromised on price and storage space. Our logic was that they are holding their value very well , and we bought an awning!
