Does anyone have a copy of this programme? Hoped I might find some of it on YouTube, but failed.

Always hoped a Deluxe Edition of "Babbacombe" Lee might one day feature a DVD of the show, but perhaps I'm puffing on the dream pipe a little heavily, here.

Here you go. Unfortunately it's the shortened repeat version with Breakfast in Mayfair with Sandy edited out. The original has been wiped.

Why would they edit out Sandy?  It's incredibly annoying!

I have memories of someone posting a copy of the complete show at some point in the last decade or so.  Have I imagined that?  Must have done....

I am sure I saw it less than a year ago on You Tube.

The more I think about it the more I'm positive about it that I've seen the unedited version.  I've got precisely no evidence to back this assertion up though.

Can you picture Sandy in your mind's eye?  What she was wearing?  Her standing with this lineup? Singing this song?

Sandy attended rehearsals and music pre-recording sessions for for The Man They Could Not Hang, but did not turn up for the actual on-camera recording. So even in the full-length original broadcast, she was audio-only. For the repeat, it was decided to include only the music being seen to be performed by the musicians.

Ah, now, this sheds new light on the matter. Thanks, Gareth.
