No what about the Friday headliner?

I would love to see Big Big Train headline the Friday night.

No , Big Big Train would be an ideal headliner on Friday.

Crossover appeal, energy, enthusiasm and great musicians.

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, the last king of pop

I'm guessing that they would be right at the edge of the budget. Maybe £100K+.

Really?!  Jesus, the last time I saw Heaton live was in a pub.  It wasn't that long ago...

They sold out the Albert Hall in under an hour. Again reasonable ticket prices. (£35ish)

I was thinking they might be in the price range and apparently sell loads of tickets.

I know how much James Taylor would have wanted about 15 years ago. Less than that, but not a lot.

Fantastic option,a massive back catalogue. Saw them at Cannock Chase in the summer and got tickets for Sheffield in November. Love em.

I'm not sure they'd be right for a Cropredy crowd. Erudite for sure, and melodic, but so were Divine Comedy...

More singalong pieces than Divine Comedy ( whom I actually loved, anyway).
