Where was this line up announced? Not on FCs facebook or home page.

On www.fairportconvention.com . I've just had an email as well...

Le Vent du Nord have been on my 'would love to see' list for a couple of years.  I'm a huge fan of Al Stewart and Sam Kelly.  Fish was great last time - let's hope he plays 'Clutching At Straws' this time.  Judging by his last visit he is one who 'gets' Cropredy too, which helps.

Not perfect. Never claimed to be.

Wasn't Fish's last appearance at Cropredy meant to be part of his "last ever" tour?

Is he in fact Frank Sinatra?

Levellers were fun last time, I look forward to seeing them again.

Obviously Thursday didn't get agreed so they can't announce it yet.

Not heard of Le Vent du Nord so thank you for the recommendation. Also in agreement with your other comments and more than happy to see the Levellers again. Expecting some sort of tribute to Sandy next year as it will be the 40th anniversary of her passing. Looking forward to the festival already  Cheesy Grin

Have to agree about Fish 'getting it' - he completely won me over last time.    Levellers are one of all time favourites .  Love Al Stewart but hope he's not headlining.  Have seen and thoroughly enjoyed Sam Kelly but can't for the life of me remember where !

Sam Kelly was fantastic at Underneath the Stars this year. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

I have never understood buying tickets for a fest when you don't know who you are going to see??

I make a point of buying Beautiful Days tickets as soon as they're available. By the Wednesday of the week of the festival I often still don't know who I'm going to see.

I know who I'm going to see at Cropredy - all of my friends. Nuff said.

Almost right, I believe he plans to officially retire at 60 (next year) after completing his last recording project.  It was always intended that he do one last tour.  (After which he may well do a Sinatra Cheesy)

I'm just hoping it's not raining this time round...

Lineup looks good to me so far, tickets just purchased numbers around 1400...

Never been to Cropredy (which given my recent posting history will probably get this post deleted as well), but I don't really understand the Fish / Marillion connection wouldn't have thought it a natural fit?

Didn’t Mr. Fish do quite well in the Top Turns poll last time he played?
