Hello all, I’ve had clearance for this post from YaBB, so don’t panic! For many reasons I’m having a clear out of cds that I no longer listen to. I’ve absolutely loads of stuff and some of it is F.C. and related. Where better to sell this stuff than Talkawhile? I’ve some box sets too that I’ll add another time if anyone is interested. Should anybody be interested, Colin has asked that we communicate by personal messages. Ideally, I’d like to sell everything to a single buyer if possible. I don’t want to sting anybody so - 21+ cds for £42, plus whichever form of postage you desire would be extra.
List is as follows:
Jewel In The Crown Sense Of Occasion Tipplers Tales Fairport Companion (double) various artists The Wood And The Wire Who Knows Where The Time Goes? 1998 Encore Encore Before The Moon (double) XXXV Over The Next Hill Angel Delight Old New Borrowed Blue The Cropredy Box (triple) Before Your Time - Simon Nicol
All the following are all RT: You, Me, Us (double) Dream Attic Grizzly Man Small Town Romance the Old Kit Bag Front Parlour Ballads Sweet Warrior

Hey All
I have in my possession a collection of old Folk Roots magazines that I have had for 12-13 years. They were given to me by an old family friend (now passed away) who had a subscription to the magazine for many years, but rarely read them. He gave them to me when he found out I had recently taken an interest in folk music, but I too have hardly touched them. They have taken up space for too long and I have decided the time is right to get rid of them.
The collection is not complete but it does include:
Issues 21, 22 & 23 of ‘Southern Rag’ (before it was called Folk Roots)
Issues 25 -222, 225, 230 -250, 252 - 255 and 265 of Folk Roots.
Also in the collection is Issue 207 of Dirty Linen.
Issues are in good condition, most of them near perfect. Many of them have the name ‘Allen’ written on them (the previous owner). Issue 230/231 has had an order form cut from the back page / back cover and Issue 2015 has a torn front cover, all other issues are undamaged.
Is there anyone on here that is interested in taking them off my hands, or knows of anyone or anywhere else I might be able to try and sell them? I have no idea what the value of them would be.
Cheers.
Dan.

Personally, I'd put them on eBay. Having said that, it might be worth checking with Ian A. Anderson first (he's on Facebook)?
I had a few copies of Southern Rag...bought from Collett's when I went up to London on my own at about the age of 13/14. It seems a long time ago....

Bit of a random one - I've got a complete set of Folk Roots Magazine from mid nineties all the way until it's demise in 2019. Pefect condition. Free to a good home - might be tricky to transport though - there are about 250 of them.

I have a copy of Cropredy Capers, the boxed set.
It is sealed and was purchased new, around the time of release. 2005? I even have the box it reached me in.
It will at some point be going up on ebay . If anyone is interested Please message me.
Thanks.
Alan.

I'm selling an original painting from '69 of the Incredible String Band by an artist called Bill Gall. It was on Antiques Roadshow a decade ago... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnxYFdhZCiE (when it was valued at £2k) It's listed on eBay here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/257089541122 but I'm open to a private sale too.

Genuinely surprised you can bring yourself to part with it. Jules I'm effectively the dealer here, but if I end up keeping it for a while it won't be the end of the world. Mike does follow you around the room a bit, mind...
