That's more like it! Kept me thoroughly entertained in the rain. Engaging front man, good uptempo songs, and definitely merit further investigation. Put me in mind of a suped-up Jools Holland (sort of)

Elements of Squirrel Nut Zippers with a bit of Squeeze. I'd love to hear them do a cover of The Ghost of Steven Foster! Great pianist! Smiley

I enjoyed thier set, at times I thought they sounded a litle Take That like, but that wasnt the songs themselves more the production.

Lots of energy, but didn't grab me.  I must admit I left to get waterproofs partway through.

This year's find, for me. Such enthusiasm, talent and energy was a joy to behold. I will definitely be checking them out.

The highlight of the weekend for me! My partner saw them a couple of years back at the British Grand Prix and loves them so I was familiar with their music. But they delivered everything I'd hoped for and more! Absolutely brilliant, I didn't stop dancing from the moment they came on, singer has a great voice and the fiddle player and piano guy were fantastic too. Will definitely be going to see them again!

I thought CC Smugglers, that's CC Smugglers (If he mentioned their name once he mentioned it a hundred times), were a bit like a folky Cold Play. Good effort given the rain and on before the BIG act of the day, Pearce Brothers. Lively and full of energy, and yes, the piano man, excellent, but so was the fiddler.

my 'find' of the whole festival!
Front man was good, slightly too much shouting at times - but the piano man was phenomenal  Grin

Great fun, enjoyed them very much. The young members of the family really enjoyed them as well.

Saw them at a free festival last year, thought they were great. Didn't disappoint this time, I enjoyed their energy and enthusiasm though to be honest if they had played the same song twice I might not have noticed. Highly entertaining though.
