A bit overenthusiastic but fun. I am not their target demographic.

The big question? Could they do it again 1 year later?

Never in doubt was it! Absolutely smashed it!

In fact I am thinking of starting a campaign that when the FC chaps do eventually hang up their boots that the festival should become 'The Pierce Brothers Cropredy Convention" That way we get to see them every year. Smiley

So much energy, So much joy. Wonderful.

I don't get them. A lot of energy yes, and a bit of fun but I really don't understand what is so fascinating.

Somebody said it's there for them to lose.
They didn't. It was a joy. Nothing more, just great entertainment.. Pleasing the mob, including me.

It's all down to pure, unadulterated passion and enthusiasm which they have in bucket loads

Same for me. I like their song it's just they play it 20 times in the set.

Like many I worried for them that they couldn't live up to last year. But guess what? They did, and the sunshine factor can't be the reason. Just joyful, passionate,  energetic and humble. So maybe they're just the perfect cropredy band. Rock on  boys, you did the double.

Now, I don't get what people see in Marillion, but hey 😀

We didn't go last year but were expecting great things after all the hype.
We weren't disappointed. Really enjoyed them

Loved them last year and they stepped up and did it again this year. Fantastic.

Didn't get them last year.  Arrived back on the field partway through their set this year, and still didn't get it.  Hi-energy, passionate, etc, yes.  But no tunes or words that stuck.  Just not my cup of tea, I guess.

As I wasn't there last year, did they live up to the hype? A definite yes. I love to see acts really enjoying themselves and playing with a passion, they delivered both in spades.

Regarding the comments about same song for 20 mins, errr, Quo! They have a style, yes, they have a passion, Yes, and they have youthful energy. Enjoyed their set again, but last year they were right place right time. This year, good fun if repetitive, but will wait a few more years before I see them again. Crowd pleasers, and perhaps there is a bit of 'we discovered them on this field' which will go down in Cropredy folklore. Good luck to them, buskers on a main stage! (The guitar brother was pretty talented though!)

Very much enjoyed these two again!

I think they are a real breath of fresh air in the "under 35 folk rock duo playing at a festival" market. They get what a festival audience want, energy, engagement and songs one can hum all the way back to the tent.

A great live act, I thought. Well done to them for not blowing it/bottling it on their return.

Reminded me a bit of Kim Churchill (also an Aussie), not musically, but in attitude.

Thought they were really good, loads of energy which rubbed off on the crowd. Set seemed too long and lost my interest a bit. Glad I saw them but thats it.
