Just noticed this 4 CD box set on sale which purports to include the complete Friday night & Saturday sets from 2002. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place but I don't remember this being released. It is priced at just £5.99 - can it be legit and is it worth buying please?

It's on Ebay listed as 'Fairport Convention Festival CD (2012)', the record label seems to be Documents Records with a series name 'Fab Four', released May 2012. Having looked a bit further the track listing of CDs 2 & 3 appear to be the same as Woodworm WR2CD039 but I don't know the origin of CDs 1 and 4. I presume it's just another unauthorised re-packaging. Anyone, doesn't really matter now cos I've just received the new 'Come All Ye' set which will be far more exciting!

Looks like a repackaging of the 2002 set surrounded by a bunch of studio album tracks.

2002 Festival. 2012 release date.

Oh yeah  - we've discussed this before - Another Gig, Another Palindrome/2002 Cropredy, plus tracks from The Five Seasons, Jewel In The Crown and Old, New, Borrowed And Blue (I sure do hope that Noddy don't sue.)
