The Airborne Toxic Event   Huh   Who you say.
They're American and would really rock the place in a late night spot. Example here.
Part rock, part acoustic and they put on a great show. (Chris Bates agrees, so I must be right.)
However despite the fact that they can sell out 300+ seat venues in the UK, I doubt they would sell an extra ticket at Cropredy.

BTW just listing artists isn't going to have much effect. Writing a couple of lines as to why, might just get somebody's interest.

Given the boost to ticket sales from the proggy contingent this year I imagine they'll try to do the same thing next time, find three or four related acts to make it worthwhile for genre fans.  So you could have say Steve Earle (with band), Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell and Mary Chapin Carpenter.

And then he woke up...

Good call for the Treacherous Orchestra btw, they would get the place bouncing.

Well, the tribute band Arse are very good... I can't tell them apart!  Wink

I guess Madness could be too big also?

I'd like some decent reggae/dub (not UB40), and maybe some African hi-life or a Latino vibe.  And some Morris.

A longer set from FC - though the concise 2-hour set on Saturday was one of the best I've seen them (the current line-up) do.

A lot of my long-time 'wishes' were on this year, so I'll have to keep thinking about this.

Merry Hell would be fun, I suspect!
'Bout time the Oysters came back, I reckon, failing them Steeleye.
Show of Hands would get my vote too.
I've heard good things of Keston Cobblers Club too, though I haven't seen them myself.

Now we've had Al, how about Bruce Cockburn?
Or Jackson Browne?  (I can dream, can't I?)
Maybe Mark Knopfler could drop by?
Time for Jez Lowe to put in another appearance as well.
One of the versions of BJH that are going around (either Les Holroyd's or John Lees')
Camel have got together and played some dates recently too
And Tri Yann are still on my list...
