Gryphon and Home Service share a bass player, but Jon's a fit lad, I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

Are they  both touring next year Simon? I knew Gryphon are.

Second vote for Brave Combo. I saw them twice last year and they are a lot of fun, know how to engage a crowd, and they would have Cropredy dancing easily.

Spoilsport! I defy anyone to keep still to "Boogie Nights" by Heatwave or "You Should Be Dancing" by the BeeGees  Afro

On a serious note, is there any chance of is getting Neil Young at Cropredy?  Tiara

Where can I get one of those ? A lot of horrendous music has infiltrated our airwaves during my lifetime , most of it under the banner of disco, soul (and particularly Northern Soul) and rap. Whilst there have been some truly great soul artistes (Otis, Marvin, early Stevie, Curtis etc ) punters seemed willing to accept any old **** as long as was tagged as soul or if you could dance to it.

That was on our local radio yesterday and I was just thinking how utterly naff it sounded. Metronome percussion and ridiculous lyrics.

Now Neil Young is another matter ............

Remember how many people were saying beforehand that Alice Cooper would be dire? And look what happened.
