AI isn't always so good.

Apple's version (Apple Intelligence) distributed several newsflashes recently, one saying Rafael Nadal was Brazilian and had come out as gay (neither is correct) and said that BBC News had published an article claiming Luigi Mangione, the man accused of the murder of healthcare insurance CEO Brian Thompson in New York, had shot himself. He hasn't.  It also announced today that Luke Littler had won the PDC World Championship hours before he had played in the final.

Thanks Shane, I really do worry for today's youth, brought up on a world of fiction and algorithm-driven "choices", yet often firmly believing they have an infinite store of knowledge to guide their lives. God be with the days when AI was nothing more sinister than artificial insemination.  Creepy times ahead....
