Has anyone seen the Classic Rock review of RT at the Festival Hall or, more importantly, the interview with Dan Hawkins out of The Darkness in the same issue which claims that everything he has written has been influenced in some way by the IWTSTBLTH*? Or am I just being royally wound up? Shocked Somewhere, I suspect, there's a Hancock guffawing and spluttering "I told you so!".  Smiley

Dan Hawkins played guitar with singer/songwriter Liz Horsman, who supported RT on his UK tour in 1999, so that's the initial connection. I read an interview with him a few years ago when The Darkness were at their initial peak, and he claimed that being on the road with Richard (and the great Danny Thompson too !) had a big effect on him musically, opinions on The Darkness aside, of course  Wink If he thinks something's rubbed off on him, then fair enough !
