Here is the outcome of Super Thursday's semi finals:

Hand of Kindness v Shoot Out The Lights  8 - 18   After a bright start it looked as though an upset was on the cards but HoK fell away in the second half.
Henry The Human Fly v I Want To See the Bright Lights Tonight 9 - 17  Henry defied their critics to reach this stage of the competition but their charms were ultimately no match for the heavyweight opposition.

So that leaves us with the final that perhaps most people would have predicted. The luck of the draw was once again with the two favourites as they managed not face each other in the earlier rounds.

Shoot Out The Lights v I Want To See the Bright Lights Tonight

to be contested by 6pm tomorrow.

Bob, you really ought to know better on your side of the pond. Remember the fuss when the MLB All Star game had to be abandoned as a tie a few years back? And that was only an exhibition game!  Wink

It is down to the wire in the RT Cup. There has to be a winner and a loser.

Great pair of album titles going against each other.  Does he want to see those lights or not?  I ask you...
(Actually, never thought about it before, but he the lights came on when Linda joined him and when out when they split.  Hmmm.)

Anyway, I thought I'd go the other way, but after looking things over carefully, it's:

A different day might have been a different result, but tonight I want to hear a brass band...

Very competitive, high-scoring contest! Neither of two strikers, Cross and Lights, could be stopped, but they wound up nullifying each other, scoring 3 goals apiece.
At the end, Bright Lights defied the critics' predictions and emerged the victor.
