Hi Simon, lovely to see you in here.

It was a real honour to present you with your awards at Wychwood and thanks for being so helpful to us to make it happen. (however I am still gutted that I missed Cold Hailey Rainy Night, my husband keeps telling me how good it was   )

The questions I wanted to ask have mostly been covered already, and I am enjoying your answers. I'm happy to see you are planning another IV, hope it doesn't take as long as the first one!

My question is - are the Afro Celts still an entity, and will they be doing any live gigs next year?

Q: are the Afro Celts still an entity, and will they be doing any live gigs next year?

A:Yes we are and hope to do an album and some gigs next year possible. I've been talking to Martin and James about it. Anatomic was a great CD, one of my favourite ACSS albums of late but never got the support it deserved and really took it out of us financially and emotionally. But as a band we are very good at bouncing back.

did you enjoy playing the wychwood festival gig last year?   it was a fantastic way to end the weekend.....one of the highlights.

Thanks, Wychwood was great last year and this, it's just the right size festival for me. Although there always a potential disaster just before we go on stage, last year my guitar strap lock snapped just as we were about to go on stage, this year Martin Carthy stepped out of the back stage porto cabin, forgot there was a drop and badly sprained his leg. The hard drive that contains all our samples that Angy G our drummer triggers from his kit also froze seconds before we were about to get announced. Anyway, it's always the gigs that have the adrenalin fueled starts that are the best. The other great festival for me is the Lamar Tree in North Dorset near Cranborne Chase.
