Apparently very well, from the odd report elsewhere. And Simon's sunburnt foot (see FC chatter)

What would you post on the website about the US tour? Bear in mind it only started on Friday, so is only 5 days old. I'm sure they'll take a review from you, Cat!

I'm going to the May 18th gig at The Winchester.  I hope they allow cameras!  Huh  And this time, I made absolutely sure they don't need me at work that evening!

Worth taking it along - I'm sure the band will be OK with it, but avoid flash if possible - it puts other audience members off.

Would love to do a review Chris - but the furthest I am going this month is to Otley - not quite the same ring as going to the US - just doesnt seem to be any mention of the tour but sure will be following soon

I got a note from my friends in Oregon. They'd been down to see FAC at a festival in California. They had a long chat over several beers with a very jovial Simon apparently. The story has it that Rob B is (or was at the time) AWOL, whereabouts unknown  Shocked Simon had been handling all the promoters, travel, navigation, etc without any paperwork. Very resourceful chap that Simon...

C'mon Rob, it's San Jose, California, not Mexico!

Cheers

Rob Braviner who I believe has been the longtime Fairport engineer and I think handles all sorts of things really. If i'm wrong, pretty sure i'm not someone who is asleep in Europe will set me straight. Probably a goodly sign of far gone fanaticism when you can say who a musical organization's non musical functionaries are, and in my case I can speak to several, Tull, Beatles, Dead, Miles, Jimi

Unfortunately, I will not be able to get to a show this year. Has anyone heard anything about a US release for Sense of Occasion? Compass Records hasn't had it listed
