As I see it you've 2 options:

Either wrap yerself up in clingfilm and sleep in the airing cupboard to bring it on
or
Dig out your bikini and climb into the freezer.

That way you either incubate it so it passes through you expressly... or slow it for a few days.

Thanks for the suggestions..........I've decided on the airing cupboard as I've only a fridge-freezer and wouldn't fit in a drawer Roll Eyes

Excellent.

You'll also be able to sit at the gig knowing you've passed it as well.

OK, who doesn't want to drive home after the gig tomorrow  Huh

Through reasons beyond my control I'm sadly unable to attend  Cry  Angry   Embarrassed

...BUT...

One of you might be able to save me incurring further losses  Cheesy

If anyone would like a twin room at the Old School Mews B&B at 67A Main Street for £50 please call Joy Turnell on 0115 9664838.

GB thats a great opportunity and we would have snatched your arm off till we realised that its £25 per person, not £50 per room, and we are bringing the small things along with us too.
so its drive home or kip in the car.
we would normally bring the tent and make a weekend of it, and if it were just us two we still would, but its still just that bit too cold to subject the kids to the tent yet.

anyone for a party on the M1 in the early hours?

see you all there!

ps.
are there tables?  should i start the ball rolling for a 'buffet'?
in these situations i feel the need to feed...........

The real question is whether anyone will be able to tell whether they're having a good time.

Do you think there's be a clock there? Maybe you could take one along?  Cheesy

Sitting here wondering if last night happened or if I dreamed it Roll Eyes

From the roar when Swarb came on stage, to the two standing ovations at the end, the evening was superb. Grin

My hands hurt from clapping and my face ached from smiling Smiley

(I forgot to say this won't be objective)

Kev and Maart were superb and to see Swarb again, playing like he did, was fantastic. Smiley

SWARB'S BACK - and we were there Wink

What a truly FABULOUS event................I am still high on it all.

Music, laughter and more love and warmth in that village hall than you could shake a stick at Roll Eyes

Sorry to shout, but...

HOW GOOD WAS THAT GIG?!

When I wasn't stamping my feet I was holding my sides in through laughing so much!  Spent the journey back grinning and playing my new Swarbrick 1&2 double CD really loudly!

Well done Amethyst et al - one of the best gigs I have ever had the pleasure of attending!

Note to Swarb:  Don't look so embarrassed about your multiple standing ovations - you deserved every second of it!

Thanks all. I told this to various last night.

After doin the intros I exited right and found myself trapped on the wrong side of the hall.

No probs I thought nip out the fire escape, around the building back in through the front entrance. Out I went closin the firedoor behind me... to find myself in a large fenced in anti intruder compound. Had to scale a six foot fence hoping for no barb wire. Half way up this couple walk by with their dogs. Ha ha I said a little tooo eagerly I'm not an intuder, just introduced the main act need to get back in. Then sort of slipped down the other side leavin my foot stuck in the lock about 4 feet up. Thought I was goin to break my toes and how no-one would take me to hosp as Swarb was playin!

Eventually it came out and back in I went. (Takin me plank next time...)

What can I add?.... nothing that hasn't already been said really.
Swarb is back!!! Maart and Kev were superb, and it was the bestest evening in the world Grin

Swarb's eyes are full of mischief, his smile is cheekier than ever, I think Kev and Maart might just have trouble keeping up with him soon, he's becoming a real bundle of energy Grin

And like delfini said... we were there Grin Grin
