Good that I checked messages here while I was in the online ordering process for the box set.
Amazon Italy: 34 Euro inc postage is a bargain (and almost sounds like a mistake).
Come to think of it - fingers crossed the box set coming out of Italy will not go by the adjusted name of Fotheringetti Completti.

German Amazon no longer selling it - I wonder if the record Company have refused to supply?

Back on sale with German Amazon again now, at the slightly lower price of 27.99 euros.

My copy still says it hasn't been despatched yet, but delivery date still estimated at 1-2 April.

No sign of a price adjustment on my existing pre-order.   Sad

Nor mine.  As long as it's only a few euro cents I won't complain, but if it went down more significantly I wouldn't be happy!

I don't think you will know until they send it out. Then they will send you an email advising the price drop if appropriate and refunding you the difference. Thay has been my experience.

Drifting off topic a little, anyone else remember the English-German-English translation of Matty Groves that appeared here some years ago? I must see if I can find it...

Swerving back on topic, does anyone have a definitive list of what adjustments JD has made to the original recordings?

It's wending its weary way from the Prussian hinterland to green fields of Baguley, or so amazon.de would have me believe.

I received some sort of gothic missive presumably telling me likewise.   Cheesy

Yep, on its way, the UK leg via Royal Mail apparently.  I was rather hoping it would be delivered via a vintage Junkers 52 flying into Staverton Airport.

The box set gets a pretty dismissive 2 star review in Mojo.  Mainly for trying to make a box set out of a band who only made one album proper, for having too many versions of the same songs, and for the fact that the critic doesn't rate Trevor's contributions.  I still can't help thinking that he's being harsh though.
