Alphabet Zoo was my daughter Madeleine's second appearance on an album, the first being on Maart aged 21 months. Madeleine and my son Jered made animal noises on one of the tracks. I think it was the lion one...

Blimey! Another Mark Tucker who has also worked with Ralph? I think not... I'll check the sleeve notes. But I know I didn't engineer that album. Wish I had!! We love it, and so does my daughter! Grin

Hi Maart! Yes it says Madelaine and Jered Allcock on track 12 Laurence the Lion!  Grin I assume your daughter's name is incorrectly spelt then???

Great album for us grown up 'kids' too!  Grin

Hi Maark

I'm pretty sure it was Tim Matyear. Jered would have been about 2 or 3 and he's 15 now, taller than me with a voice deeper than mine. "Hi Dad" has dropped several octaves. I'm not sure when you came to Woodworm but I think Jered would have been older.

Hi JJ

Madeleine was spelt the French way, like those fluffy little egg cakes Smiley A lot of people spell it wrong, but then they get Jered wrong too and the surname. Next time I'm going to be called John Smith. Though people will probably spell Jon wrong...

Hello Mark, Maart, Joan and all,

Joan's CD is a 2001 reissue (by Leola) of the AZ 10th Anniversary CD issued by The Road Goes on Foever in 1993.  Six new tracks were recorded for that release (the CD sleeve says 'seven', but one is from a 1982 EP).

'Martin, Madeleine and Jered Allcock' are named among the musicians.  However, there is no indication of the production or engineering credits.

So the notes on the Leola release seem to be from memory.  They have updated Maart's name to Maartin, but got Madeleine's wrong!

Ma(a)rk, were you at Woodworm in 1993?

Hi John,

No, I was not at Woodworm's in a studio/engineering capacity in 93.

Thanks for your efforts in confirming the fact!

Mark.
