The Mandolin All Stars / Mandolinquents didn't last long as a recording or touring unit, which was a shame cos I really enjoyed the two live performances I saw, when you played with Simon and Hilary at the (now sadly defunct) Gantry in Southampton.
Did you enjoy your time in the band and are there any plans to work together in the future ?

Hi Martin

I loved playing with the Mandos and Simon Mayor is one of my all-time favourite people. Unfortunately there isn't a market big enough to sustain such a band, and Chris Leslie is otherwise engaged these days. Simon and Hilary came to Harlech last May and it was great to see them. Hilary's auntie lives just down the coast. I'd like to do it again, but I think the chances are slim. Who knows?
