Whither Sir Bob? I'm intrigued to know what the last wax cylinder he purchased was, for one.

Because this is supposed to be the Folk Corporation Talkawhile - I'm sure if you ask Sir Bob nicely he'll start a new thread in the Arms.

Any more questions for the Talkawhile team?  Wink

Well, JJ is a mod for the Folk Club. And seeing as how a few of the club mods have given answers already, I think it would be ok if she had a go too.

Cheers

Well perhaps people can look what other mods are doing and respond in like, then.

Sorry I interrupted, I was just flicking through and didn't realise where I'd ended up!  Shocked I will go back and crawl into my corner now.

Ok - thanks. Here goes then!

1. Radio 2, Magic FM and Essex Radio

2.Family Mahone at Croppers
Oyster Band at Bush Hall, London (Big Session)

3. None, it's all repeated on Monday's! Also can't stand the weight of the magazines!

4. I had never heard of them until I met a man who owned Leige and Lief on vinyl of course and it just blew my mind (I've just recently bought it on CD)

5. Interest in canals and Civil War sights that first brought me to Cropredy. Our first year, we went the weeked after (can you believe that!) We wanted to visit Cropredy Bridge and the church and find out more about the battle (anoraks!!!) and a little old lady in the church asked us if we had been there for 'the Fairports' as she put it, I can remember to this day a sun hat with Fairport Convention on it lying in the church porch! We found out more and have been going now for about 10 years.

6. Big Session, (Oyster Band, Show of Hands, June Tabor, Jim Moray, Eliza Carthy etc.)

7. Nancy Delolioooooooo .cos she does a great job already!!!  Wink
