The new Macca.  It's a really strong album with an absolutely great sound, although I am (hi-res) streaming, rather than putting this on to play

Agreed, a really lovely album. The duet with Ringo is a joyous thing, I couldn’t stop smiling.

I'm on my 2nd listen to the new Macca album. Streaming, but considering buying a copy, it's that good.

It's as if he's channelling the sound of his "power-pop" successors e.g. Wondermints and Jellyfish.

Put it this way, he's released far worse, and it's heartening that he's making music that exceeds expectations.
