I thought I would nominate my 10 favourite records of 2020 and see if anyone else fancies doing the same thing.

1. AngelHeaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan & T Rex - Various Artists
2. No Place Like Tomorrow - Virginia Kettle
3. Fiddle Back - Chris Leslie
4. Licht - Nena
5. Wreckless Abandon - The Dirty Knobs
6. Emergency Lullabies - Merry Hell
7. No Time For Love Songs - The Mastersons
8. Rough & Rowdy Ways - Bob Dylan
9. Fake Tan - Iain Matthews & The Salmon Smokers
10. Luna Park - Tankus The Henge

Special mention for Strange News by Trad Arrr but it is too early to know where it sits in the list.

I haven't picked up that Iain Matthews album yet. Looking forward to it.

Nice list.  About half of these would be on mine (with Alison at the pinnacle) if I could be bothered to play ball (I never can).

Which reminds me, I really must listen to TVFHD.  It sounds great but I'm sceptical (although a great Ride fan).

In no particular order :

Dyble Longdon : Between A Breath & A Breath
Bob Mould - Blue Hearts
Bonemachine - Mountains
Disheveled Cuss - Disheveled Cuss
Jackie Venson - Vintage Machine
John Paul White - The Hurting Kind (strictly 2019 but bought 2020)
Jeffrey Foucault - Blood Brothers
Jason O'Driscoll - Everything Fall Away
Marley Blandford - Ephemeral Adventures
Richard & Linda Thompson - Hard Luck Stories (if sublime reissue boxsets count)

Thank goodness for the interweb - thanks to a certain pandemic situation, I bought almost no physical music this year. All of the above were purchased online and downloaded, even the RT & LT boxset.

Definitely worth a listen, I'd put it on par with the two post-reunion Ride albums, which I both rate highly.
