First names -

We have no doubt that Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2021 will be the party to end all parties so we're putting together a line-up to match!

We have managed to secure the majority of our 2020 artists from the festival-that-never-was including American folk legend Judy Collins, Galician piper Carlos NķŮez and festival favourites, Canadian Juno award winners Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

Then there's Show of Hands, Oysterband, The Young 'uns, and first time visitors Lindisfarne, The Lost Words: Spell Songs, Welsh supergroup Pendevig and Moonlight Benjamin, who went down a storm during our virtual festival earlier this year. And of course, much, much more.

Worth going for Blackie alone never mind Oysterband Young Uns Show of Hands etc.

I suspect there is more corporate backing than Cropredy/the funding is different. I donít know though.
Our chaps would have to risk everything, and that is not an option.

I wish them well. I canít handle being angry at the things that can go ahead when Cropredy canít. It would cause me too much to be angry at it all. I havenít the energy.

Would have gone if they hadn't cancelled acts that I wanted to see. Too expensive for what's left. There's more acts I want to see at NFFF and that's costing us 100 quid EACH less.

Acts from Shrewsbury Festival 2021 can (mostly) now be found online here.

Great to relive it - some great acts, some great times. It all seems a very long time ago.

Thanks Andy! Great to relive Shrewsbury and rewatch some of my favourite acts from it - Seckou Keita Quartet, Afro Celt Sound System. Not seen Kabantu posted about here but they're definitely worth a watch as 2 of their sets are up.
