The good news is he says it's coming this year (but don't hold your breath, you know what he's like).

The bad news is - it contains 3 discs that you'll possibly be buying for the second time.

Disc 6, though.  *drools*

I'll join you in drooling for Disc 6 but I suspect I will sit this out.

Drooling (into my sleeve of course) about most of these disks. However my guess is the price tag will take it beyond what I would pay, however wonderful, when so much new new stuff by so many artists is available and deserves attention.

It went on sale today.  Limited edition apparently, and it looks like it's already sold out.   Cry

It is. They set up Europe distribution on it too.  I'm hearing different reports about availability, but the link sure isn't working right now.

I'll settle for digital files if I have to.

What I am hearing is that sales through the European site won't be available until January next year.

UK site is selling it. For 210 of some currency or other:

21 (quid?) a disc?  Hmmmm.

I went through the process to see if it was clear what currency, but no...I'm assuming £'s though. Interestingly, it lets you choose your own postage option (from £0 to £3.95, I think lol which is clearly a bit odd).  So, what does membership of the archive get you then?

Yeah, I can't justify 21 notes per disc.  I wonder if there will be a second edition with just the CDs and less of the extra gubbins for a cheaper (but knowing Neil, not that much cheaper) price later.

You get free streaming of his released works on his site, and some nice graphics to look at.

Neil’s now been online apparently shocked the 3000 have sold out and is promising a second edition in the future.
