I know where my towel is

« on: August 14, 2020, 11:02:11 AM »

I listened in last night intending to just hear one or two tracks. However, the production balance and quality simply blew me away.

It was almost like being on that Hallowed ground but without having to Que for the Loo. What a great job they did.

The bands personalised the songs with their interviews, I hadn't heard Rosalie Cunningham before, now I wont miss her set whatever Peter has on down at The Brase. Great selection of tracks too. The Sambodians came over so well and what a fine version of Crazy Man Michael , hope they do it next year.

I'm off to Wrexham to stock up on beer for tonight's 7 till midnight broadcast. If you tune in you will not be sorry. It was great.

Exactly! Not just beautifully put together, but full of the warmth and fellowship that is Cropredy, really looking forward to part two.

Right from the perfect start-off with Festival Bell, there was a feeling throughout that it was put together in a heartfelt way by people who love and genuinely "get" Cropredy. Looking forward to what tonight will bring. Hats off to all involved

They are having server problems apparently. Missed the first two acts completely and is now repeating Emily Barker. What a shame for them. Poor Cressida is tearing her hair out.

Feel very sorry for them, but things have started to move on. And we got to hear a Gerry twice.  Smiley

I missed the first bit both today and yesterday which was frustrating, but listening now.

I, too, thought I’d tune in. - and turn off quickly because it was **** - but I found myself sitting there (when I was supposed to be doing other things) with a smile on my face. They managed to capture the essence of Cropredy. Excellent.

No, they don't have that facility. They will be rebroadcasting Thursday night at 7pm. They have already broadcast Friday twice (it was repeated last night).
