Richard Digance
is giving beginners guitar lessons on Facebook at 11.00 every day for 2 weeks, they are available to watch after the event as well, just search FB for Richard Digance and join in, hes an excellent teacher, even for long standing twangers like me, you never stop learning.

I think I saw you in an ice-cream parlour, drinking milk shakes cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine, don't think
You knew you were in this song

If you're having a bad day trying to get your guitar in tune here's a useful video from Richard Durrant. Harmonics are your friend.

I've bought myself a tenor guitar from my local music shop - Promenade Music in Morecambe - which should be delivered today. Glad I looked at this thread again as I'd forgotten Steve Knightley has done tutorials on it.
