Grin Here's wishing everybody on TAW a Happy Christmas  Grin

I hope everybody's day goes well, with good times and no dramas.

Here it's eight adults, a small child, a baby and a dog. I'm wondering if eight adults are enough to control the dog.

but BEING PAID -- what will compare with it?

Merry Christmas! Started the day with a PB at Finsbury Park parkrun n a beautiful sunny morning. As our girls are both over 30 itís a fairly leisurely affair here with just the four of us and distinctly less wrapping paper than in the past!

I really must get around to thinking up something witty and urbane to put here.

First Christmas dinner at home in the 35 years we have lived here.  This time my mum came to us (well I drove over and picked her up).  Quiet, no TV except for the Queen which was mum's choice.  All back to normal now, and my first large glass of wine.

O to 62 in sixtytwo years.  Where does the time go?

Well, it was a lovely Christmas. I had a signed copy of Bill Bryson's new book which is excellent. Also the remastered versions of Dark Side Of the Moon and Wish You Were here on vinyl, two beautiful albums that will be played. Once. Then returned to their protective covers  Grin

But the top present was tickets to Cropredy with glamping  Cheesy I can't wait!!  Tiara

To echo the words of Andy Leslie!:  Nadolig Llawen Pawb ac Blwyddyn Newydd Dda - may 2020 be a year of good fun, good health and good music.

It was a wonderful albeit very stressful day ! 2 small dogs, one with 3 legs who limps around plus a 6 year old who received a Hover board from Father Christmas Shocked

Tearing up and down the lounge, negotiating tight corners in to the kitchen, me carrying the heavy roasting tin out of the oven, treading on the dogs foot, grandson bashing into the skirting board and furniture, running over Uncle's foot. They are blimming heavy and as I tried to calmly say "They aren't really meant for indoors"  It was his best gift and he just didn't want to do anything else, even playing bingo he hovered up to the table and back again!! Must say I can't believe how good he is on it, just needs to learn how to do handbrake turns!!  Grin Grin

All the best for 2020, good health all.

A belated Nadolig Lllawen everyone! Hope everything's going well for you all.

Having a lovely and festive time back in Wales with friends and family. Always great to be home for a few weeks!

Not had too many music gifts. Just Status Quo's new one, Backbone and the recent Rock Candy re-issue of Angel's Sinful. Both excellent, happily.
