Just done a quick look at the calendar!
Before the end of November
Tim Minchin
Midge Ure
Big big train
Squeeze (& Heaven 17)
Billy Bragg
Billy Bragg
Billy Bragg
Steve Hackett

That's a decent line up. Grin

Going to see Billy Bragg 3 times in row?!?!?  Shocked Once I can handle but 3x one after another might test me a bit even thought I have a number of his albums

His current tour is 3 nights in each town playing 3 different sets all focusing on a different series of albums...so not as odd as it looks!

I must admit I'm starting to wonder if I've been a bit ambitious, especially as they are standing gigs! 🤔🙄

Well we were going to see Peggy & Antony John in Liverpool but that's just been cancelled, so we've switched to Merry Hell.  Not as many as some on here (much as I love the Bragster 3 nights in a row is real commitment)  so our November looks like:

Merry Hell
Steve Hackett
Skinny Lister

Then we've got Stereophonics in January, February and March !

I *only* have Faustus, Frigg, Steve Hackett and Gigspanner Big Band coming up this month.  Feeling like a lightweight compared to some!

You don't know anyone else that wants one, do you?  I've got a ticket for Newport which I can't use due to my move to Dorset.

Only a few remaining for 2019:

Tonight, ACL Hall of Fame induction with Buddy Guy, Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin and guests.
November 7 - Pat Travers (maybe) at a dance hall in San Antonio.  Bucket list artist.
November 8 - Doobie Brothers! at ACL Live.
November 16 - Don McLean (maybe) at the Arlington Music Hall.  Bucket list artist.
November 23 - Rufus Wainwright at the Paramount Theater.
December 1- John Cleese at Bass Concert Hall.
December 17 - Cher at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.  Bucket list artist.
December 21 - Kinky Friedman at the Continental Club (maybe).*

*Would be my first visit to the venerable Continental Club since Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance back in 1987.

I can't believe you're missing Robyn to go and see some obscure act that nobody's heard of.

Would love one - but Newport is probably even further for me than it is for you from Dorset!

Do ask around...it's on all the forums etc.  Seems a bit bonkers nobody wants it for a sold out show.

Sorry, only just seen this - what a shame you can't go. I'll ask around, but it's worth you contacting the venue as it was a sell out so they might keep a reserves list

I tried.  The polite way to describe it is that they "were uninterested"  Grin

Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar tomorrow (Sunday afternoon) at Riverhouse Barn, Walton-on-Thames - our first gig for a year, now that my wife can just about walk from the car park to the building!

After much umming and ahhing I finally bought a ticket to see Al Stewart in Basingstoke tomorrow night.  From the videos going round on FB, it looks like he's doing some unusual numbers on this tour, and also some new songs.  He's playing with an electric band too, which will be different from the last few concerts I've seen which have been mainly acoustic.
