"This album is almost all new songs written last year, with just two exceptions."

I wonder what the two exceptions are.

Jules

There are apparently two of Pete's demos from the mid 60s that they updated and recorded for the album but according to the interview with Pete in the current issue of Mojo they did not make the final track listing and may be used as bonus tracks for something down the road.

Against my better judgment, I am actually quite excited about this album. I just wish I could find something to listen to this year by someone under the age of 70.

The Who postponed Dallas and Denver until the spring of 2020, around the time they plan to play the New Orleans Jazz Festival.

Now scouring the Dallas entertainment calendar, since that hotel wasn't cheap.

The hotel took pity on me and cancelled my reservation without penalty.  Smiley

In exchange, I pinky-swore that I will re-book with them if and when The Who reschedule the show.  According to my calendar, Roger will turn 76 right around the target date for the rescheduled show.  Blimey.

I'm not sure what that is, I just hope that it's not an arrestable offence.   Wink

Mott '74 fall tour cancelled due to Ian Hunter's tinnitus.  Sad

Get well soon, Ian, and I hope you reschedule.

Yes, the statement on his website is very downbeat. He sounds as though he fears this is the end of the road for him as an artist. It is worrying.  Sad

Joy oh Joy.

My favorite German Pagan Folk rock band Faun are playing in Britain ( second time ever I believe ) at the Union Chapel on Saturday April 25th 2020.

Its the only UK date of the Best of FAUN tour.

Oh double Joy of Joy. I have already got my ticket.

Could you ask him to pop over to the UK and do a few gigs please, preferably one in Cardiff but anywhere would be good!

Enjoy  Smiley

Does he ever travel overseas anymore? His gig schedule is the most leisurely I've ever seen. I think he likes to spend 5 nights a week in his own bed. (I think that's one reason he quit touring with Elton John years ago - Elton wanted to do waaaaaay more shows than Billy did.)

Just to say, although I am not a local, I have been to a couple of St Edith events and the welcome is always warm. The venues are also lovely. I shall earmark Trad Arrr and Home Service for further visits. I just wish A Winter Union werecoming back this year. They were one of the highlights of my year in 2018.
