Trying to be young!

Don’t think they’ve been mentioned in a separate topic yet but I can understand why. Found them totally nondescript and far too middle of the road dull for my liking

Cropredy 2018

A bit too wannabe Mumford like for my taste but pleasant enough.

By the way did they say they were from Devon?

6.5/10

So pleased to be there that they didn't bother to find out how to pronounce "Cropredy".

No one ever can though Andy - what particular variant did they go for?

Crop - reedy
Cror - pedy
Crow - preedy

?

They were evidently surprised to see old people sitting down. Had to snigger a bit though when he said, "we're going to bring it down a bit now - before you bunch start  wreckng the place..
Pleasant enough though, I think just a bit naive in their audience craft...

I thought they were fine.  Not too memorable, in retrospect, but filled the spot acceptably. 6/10

Not too keen - sub-Mumford stuff that passed its sell by date a couple of years ago.

And if you're going to take the piss out of the audience, you need to earn their respect first. They didn't (see also - sindogs.)

Yes, that joke was mildly amusing the first time but smacked of ‘not sure what to say to this lot’ the third or fourth!

Pleasant enough, yes, but I had to look on YouTube to remember which band it was when considering my top turns vote.

Not bad, just fairly bland. Sounded a bit Mumfordy and a bit Travelling Bandy, but without any of the catchy tunes.

I got the impression they haven't played to crowds this size much but whilst I found them a bit dull three groups of people round us ( way up back as usual ) headed down to the front for them - so they have fans out there.

Oh well,  I'm not sorry I slept through their set in that case!
Maybe more a band for the fringe, if they ever venture north again.
