Is that lady singer RT's new partner?

who cares.......none of our business

Agreed...but to answer Malcolm's question, yes that is Zara Phillips, RT's new partner.  Smiley

For those who care, over now to Talkawhile's (very) part-time Royal Correspondent :

To avoid any confusion, Princess Anne's daughter (her Maj's granddaughter) is now Zara Tindall from her marriage to former England Rugby international player Mike Tindall.
RT's new partner is born in UK but resident in USA musician and author Zara Phillips as pictured above performing on Friday at Cropredy. Over and out.  Cheesy

Not sure RT would come out of it very well in a fight with Mike Tindall, so just as well it is another ZP!

Aye, but RT's geetaring is better than Mike's.

I thoroughly enjoyed RT's slot, solo and with the FC3.

It is better, but the Tindall family are not without their musical charms, if you remember The Tindall Family who played at Cropredy in 2010 (Mike's cousins!!)

The highlight of the weekend. But then he always is whenever he plays at Cropredy.

Aaaah right! I saw a setlist of RT's performance which included 'introduction of Zara Phillips' and I visualised the horsey royal and wondered why she was there. It has now all become clear.

Ugh. Solo, I found him almost as dire as Martin Simpson. Must be a guitarist thing  Undecided

However, things improved greatly once the band showed up and I even found myself enjoying it!

I loved the acoustic section.... it’s taken me a long long time to coming round to loving “Vincent ....” but I get it totally now. Would have loved him to play Al Bowly but you can’t have everything.  I enjoyed the band section but not as much, fairly sure he played “Tear Stained Letter” in his 2017 set which would have been without Pete Zorn but I may have remembered incorrectly. I’ve never found him less than entertaining, I love a guitar player who never plays the same thing twice.... and (as a guitarist) I have serious Strat envy. ( Not seen him play his Danny Ferrington guitars in a while).

Personally, I preferred the Electric set to the Acoustic one, although Tear Stained Letter didn't really gel for me :-(

I don't think Tear Stained Letter really works without Pete Zorn. Or at least someone playing his parts (which RT, perhaps understandably, seems reluctant to countenance.) I've said before that I feel RTs recent band albums have a large Pete Zorn shaped hole in them.

Its going to be a long time before I get bored listening to him play.  Without doubt my musical highlight of the weekend.

Must buy some more CDs...

I have spent years muttering "Look up, look up" when trying to get 'that' shot. On this occasion I think it works the other way round. RT putting heart and soul into his vocals.

It is sets like this that show what an excellent guitarist RT is, both acoustically and electrically. Both parts of the set were excellent, although Simon did seem a little subdued.

He has that ability to be able to lift a crowd, and he did it.
