As I sit back at base taking a time out Iím thinking of the people who I donít know but are part of my cropredy experience once a year and who I havenít clapped eyes on this year...
Apologies for nicknames(my own) as they are people Iíve always spotted the last dozen years..

The wizard man
Long purple cloak,stick,big hat.....

Beer towel trouser man.
Says it all really

Have either been sighted as Iíve seen them every year for the previous eleven Cropredyís .

Iíve spotted tattoo face man(once spoke to him while queuing for a signing) nice bloke.

Seeing these characters once a year is part of cropredy for me and I hope they are all ok

If it's the same person I'm thinking of (and the descriptions fit) his name is John Row (or possibly Rowe) and he lives in Ipswich. I knew him when we were both involved in the Venue For Ipswich Campaign (VIC), which was trying to get a performing arts venue in Ipswich.

sadly we didn't see Palfi this year but did anyone see the new clown at the kids' area?
we will be surprised if there aren't a few complaints put in about him. my lot of 20-odd yr olds clocked him and thought he was right out of order  Angry

Did anyone spot anybody remotely famous? Havenít heard whether the usual suspects such as Robert Plant, Bob Harris, Ralph or even Jude were there this year. Were they all put off by the weather?

Talking of Ralph, didn't Simon say during the acoustic set that Ralph would be there? I was expecting him for the Saturday night.
Thinking about this and if the weather stopped any guests appearing on Saturday; were there any guests or songs in the warm ups that didn't get played on Saturday?

I did mention that to Ralph. News to him, but actually I think Simon meant they would be doing another of Ralph's songs.

We saw Ralph, but no-one else ( except men with white hair and beards which my partner decided to make a standing joke throughout the festival ĎThereís Bob Harris again!í  Grin)

I always see a woman who looks like Judi Dench and a man who looks like Rory McGrath....the former definitely isnít her, but I am still not sure about the Rory chap.

On Tuesday evening, Simon said that Ralph would be thereabouts on Saturday, but not onstage.

I saw Ralph on Sat evening, wandering the field during Martin Simpson's set.  Didn't notice any other famous faces.
